How to add new schemas and delete ones I won't use

Hi,

I won’t use a most of the defined schemas. How do edit or remove ones that are already there, and how do I add new ones?

Please explain as fully as possible. Sometimes I get answers like explore this or explore that, or things to do that I can’t even find, and I’ll spend hours and hours trying to figure things out until I just give up.
