How to add parent categories to homepage header

    In version 1 of GeoDirectory, my parent categories were automatically displaying on the homepage at the top, below the search bar. In version 2, this is no longer an automatic feature.

    How can I add these on please? Parent categories only…

    Have you made any modifications to the theme?

    It looks like the post type select is missing from the search bar.

    Strange! No, I don’t believe so…

    I have added custom CSS and have had a look in the templates, but haven’t actually made any changes!

    Is there any way we can get it back? Thanks!! 🙂

    We need to debug the issue here. Did you recently convert to GDV2?

    Please share FTP so we can look deeper into the issue. If you have a staging site, that is preferable.

    Listings in child categories will be shown on the listing (archive) page for the parent category and in searches, but parent categories don’t ‘count’ for paid listings.
