How to change some of the wording on different areas within the site

    There are certain areas within my site where I would like to tweak some of the wording used. (refer to screenshots)

    What is the process for editing some of the wording?

    Hi,

    default text strings are changed via translation file.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/translation/

    Each add-on has it’s own translation file, so for prices related strings it will be the GD pricing manager, for the check out page it will be the Invoicing plugin and so on.

    Is there a language file for the text strings that are on the “Add Listing” page?

    Most strings for the add listing page are in the core plugin language file. All those that are present when only the core plugin is installed.

    On that page there can be strings from pricing manager, claim manager and location manager.

    Depending on which one is installed.

    If there is a specific string that you can’t find, let me know and I’ll assist finding where it is.

    I was just trying to change the text of these two lines under the the “listing details” section of the add listing page. refer to screenshot.

    That does help! The only problem I have now is that I can’t find “%s Title” within the language file. I am editing the “en_US.po” file but I can’t find the right string. At this point you all probably can’t help me anymore because all of these edits are on my end but I’ll keep looking

    Unless there is a way to re download the language files? the FAQ says to look for the “Geodirectory-en_US.po” file but all I see is the “en_US.po” file. “en_US.po” does have very much in it

    en_US.po is normally the language file of a theme. Are you looking into the correct file?

    They should be all in the core plugin language file.
