How to create a page to list only featured listings?

    I wish to create a page on my site that can list only listings that are “featured”.

    I am using the payments add-on and have one package for basic listings, and another package for featured listings.

    How can I go about doing this?

    Hi,

    The featured isn’t a taxonomy, you can only sort listings by featured, so that featured listings will show on top, but you can’t filter them only by featured.

    There are few workarounds though, you could add a tag only to featured listings and use it to filter the featured listings. (you will need to make sure nobody uses that tag in non featured listings though.

    Another solution could be to use the Popular Post View shortcode on any custom page and show a defined number of listings filtered by featured : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#poppost

    Instead, is it possible to have a page that just displays all items from a specific package instead? That way I could create a new package called “Featured” that I can render out on a different page.

    No it isn’t. Prices are no taxonomy either. What you could do is create featured category and make it available only on the featured price.

    As admin add the catgeory featured to all featured listings (this can’t be done automatically) and than you will have your featured taxonomy.
