    I would like to change the default word “favorite” to the UK version of the word “favourite”.

    This appears in the places and events.

    Any advice please?

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your post. You can use the translation method to achieve what you needed there https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/ . Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!

    Hello Kor,

    Thanks for your great advice, however, I have changed themes from the “GD Framework + Child Theme”, to the “Whoop Theme + Child Theme” they use the term “Bookmark” which equates in both US and UK phrases.
    However, still having issues with the “Events Listing” Shortcode/text widget, I request 4 columns and I get 3. If I request 5, I get 4, but they are not centered.

    Any advice please.

    David

    Hello Kor,

    I am fairly new with Geodirectory and I find it fairly tedious to get my website displaying as I would like it.

    However, I have involved myself with CSS and am gaining ground so to speak.

    My website is https://southshieldstoday.com

    and I would appreciate any comments (positive or negative).

    I greatly appreciate your interest.

    David

    Hi David,

    Insert the custom CSS code into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS and see if it’s what you’re looking for.

    .geodir_category_list_view li.gridview_onefourth {
        width: -webkit-calc(25% - 7px)!important;
        width: -moz-calc(25% - 7px)!important;
        width: calc(25% - 7px)!important;
    }

    Hi David,

    I still see 3 columns on your grid. How many columns do you need to display on your homepage?

    Thanks!
