How to hide tabs from the account page?

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I would like to hide some of the tabs from a users profile page, such as activity, personal, mentions, or favorites? (refer to screenshot) Hopefully I can use some css to hide these tabs.
