    This GeoDirectory Plugin is wonderful!

What annoys me on directory issues is its lack of customization, or you accept the layout or simply look for another theme, I love my Page Builder! “Elementor”.

So I abandoned the search for themes, and focused on looking for a plugin to manage my lists. And I found GeoDirectory, I was surprised that I did not look for the Plugin before the theme.

The plugin brings everything I need! is complete, and I can add many things with your ADDONS. But since nothing is perfect, I come here to ask for help. My title made this clear!

How can I integrate the data fields of the list into the elementor dynamically so that I can create a custom elementor layout.

The elementor searches dynamically fields of: ACF, PODS, TOOLSET. Any data can be easily dynamically attached to the template! Email, Tel, Text, Image, etc …

I’m a layman, and at the moment it’s impossible for me to build a front-end submission form with GeoDirectory, if the data is not going to be read by my pagebuilder, they go to my backend but can not be displayed in my custom Fron- end with Elementor.

There are some preset shorcodes of GeoDirectory in Elementor, but they are not very useful in a single page of listing, it may be that I do not know how to use it correctly.

My alternative was! abandon the custom fields of GeDirectory, disable all in the List settings, and use the Toolset Custom Fields. So the custom fields are managed by the Toolset, all appear dynamically and I can build my Layout, GeoDirectory is responsible for managing the core of my lists directory.

I would sincerely like to limit use of Toolset, and keep everything in GeoDirectory, but I need to access those custom fields in My Page Builder “Elementor” dynamically.

Does anyone have a simple way to do this? helping a layman.

    Thank you

The Add Listing page is created and you can find it at GD > Settings > Pages > Add Listing page.
It only needs the “Add Listing” shortcode, widget or block.

To edit the content, you edit the custom fields at Places [or other CPT] and re-order them anyway you like.

That is the only way the submission form will work correctly.

    Thanks

When you want to show a single field value, use GD Post Meta.

    @alex Rollin

Thanks for the answer, I think you got where I wanted. That might help me.

I know you have your obligations, and I’m wasting your time here, but could you kindly give me a practical example within the Elementor?

Eg: I have the field PRICE, I put the value 10000, how do I make the value 10000 appear in a block of elementor text? so I can edit the colors and everything I need.

The attached images below make everything clearer about my goal.

I would like to inform you, or with some kind of code, the value 10000 in the text field. Because I can modify the text field as I want. And the target gd_meta block does not allow this

(10000 value entered manually and not dynamically) for example

All this text is needed when a layman tries to build a directory site 🙂

    Thanks again

I found the solution. I’ll check first before posting the contribution.
