How to reduce the page size & Loading Time ?

    Hi, today just notice that my pages are taking too much load time for single listing & overall site.

    Site Loading Time : 5.1 Sec
    Competitor Site Loading Time : 1.8 Sec

    On analyzing i found the difference why my competitor sites are way too faster than mine. Its the page size, even i’m using GD Booster, also during test i checked No Images listings still its showing 2.4 MB – 2.8 Mb( Checked on Gmetrix.com). While for the same listing my competitor has 267 Kb only( with images & review images). I didn’t know why its taking soo much time & page size just for listing data. Also i have updated my servers as well.
