How to remove shop/place title from search result

    Hi Team,

    Could you please help to remove shop/place title from the search result. If I search ‘car’ in the search field then it shows ‘mobile care’ (the title of the shop). please help me.

    How search function work by considering the tags, categories(excluding title).

    Did you enable it, and add some dummy content?

    It works by completing the title once the user types three or more characters.

    yes the Search autocompleter is working. For example if I type ‘car’ in the search filed then it shows ‘car dealer’, ‘car owner’ along with ‘mobi care’ then please help to remove ‘mobi care’ from the Search autocompleter.

    If the word being typed is part of the title then it will show that title as a related listing, and it cannot be removed without changing the title of the listing.

    It is not possible to remove the title autocompletion while leaving others in place without a customization, but I will flag your question for the developers in case there is a new way to do it.

    Have you considered adding a category drop down to the search bar?

    It’s possible to use that, and then hide the ‘search for’ field with CSS.
