How to save a Category to a list

    We are using List Manager to enable users to save place listings to their lists, we also want them to be able to add a category so we can notify them of new listings in that category.

    How would we do this? I have added the [gd_list_save] shortcode to the GD Archive template but it does not display anything.

    How does a user follow a category?

    You can only save listings to a GD list.
    There are plugins available that allow visitors to subscribe to receive regular updates of new listings in the category of their choice.

    I have investigated a couple of these, most of them have not been updated in 2 or 3 years, the only one I found that is more recent doesn’t support custom post categories so it doesn’t pick up the categories associated with the listings.

    Any suggestions?
