how to stop showing other category pins on map

    hi uhm i have lil question

    how can i make it so,that it will only show the category-pins of selected category

    atm when you have a listing in 2 categories
    for example cat1 and cat2
    cat1 is the main of this listing

    then when you go to cat2 listings it wil show the image of cat1

    i need it to only show the category-pin of wich is selected and not show the one that is the main in that listing

    On the location map, it will always show the pin of the default category.

    yes but is there a way to change this or do i need to change the module inside the php?

    reason is this
    listing owners wil do anything to get on top and to get more visible

    so if you then select multiple categories you will look more on top of the rest
    that listing wil then standout more, people will try to take advantage of this

    and i dont want to check all the listings every single day 😛

    Are you asking how to prevent users adding their listing to multiple categories? That is done by limiting the price packages.

    If you are asking how you can prevent users from having to choose a default category (which they all can do, so they all can standout more, so I do not see the issue), I’ll get Paolo to have a look at your question too, but I think that is standard WP behavior.

    more categories on a listing is ok but i want that the site will show only the selected category when going for example to

    https://website.com/location/category1
    then i only want to see that category picture

    i added attachment to show you the problem

    because that listing has a different default category it will show the default
    wich points out cause of different color

    i can fix this, but then i need to change the code, and im trying not to mess up the original code tomuch 🙂
    its anoying when updating 😛

    so im hoping you have a more better way

    Hi,

    that is not possible. It only shows the pin for the default category in maps no matter which category you are browsing.

    lol uhm im trying to find where this is in the script but i dont seem to be able to find it
