I noticed that Google shows “Archives” pages in the English in results (See attachment). How can I translate this string?

    Thank you

    Hi milettic,

Thanks for your post. Are you referring to the “Translate this page” text?

    Hi Kor,
I’m referring to one word, the word “Archives” into “Archivio”.

Look at the print screen, I want to translate just one world.

    Thx

Can you show where that is coming from in the page source?
Then we can advise about it.

    Hi Alex,
That was exactly my question, where it comes from.
    I thought it was GD

Yes, I’ve tried 🙂 The “Archive” word appears on GD pages and tags archives.

See, the Page title is “Strutture Archive”. How can I translate this title to “Strutture Archivio” or better “Archivio delle strutture”?

For tag pages, “Archivio tag” etc.

I mean on the page. The Google result could be coming from an old search index.

It seems to be translated on your site. I will ask the team in case they have another idea.

    Hi milettic,

This is the archive page title and it is coming from Yoast plugin title setting.

    You can find it at
    – SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomies > Place Categories > SEO Title
    – SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomies > Place Tags > SEO Title

Translation can be done via Yoast or you can directory modify “Archives” text there.

    Regards,
    Kiran
