    Hi

I found the problem. When in a row there is a letter like this: á, é, í, ó, ú the program does not import any cells of this row. But in my file I have all the lat and lng and all the others mandatory cells

How can I import words with accent marks? eg: ortopédia, leganés, etc.

    Thanks!!!

How are you adding the text to the CSV file? Are you copying and pasting from somewhere else?
If I import a listing with “ortopédia” it all works fine.
What is the character set you use? Try UTF-8.
If you add “ortopédia” to a listing in the admin area and export it, you will see that it works if you use the correct coding.

    Hi

I get it I think. I din not know how “save as” UTF-8 in OpenOffice but I have seen that I have to check in “Edit filters configuration”

On the other hand, I have a very big picture in the maps and I would like the clasic icon to shor the position on the map.

I mean, in the map I want the icon but in the list I want this picture with the yellow cross

    Thanks a lot

    But… 3 questions more:

    1. Where can I zoom the map. Now the icons cover all Spain: http://fedop.org/wp/location/
    2. Can I put the Seach button on the right of the page instead of the left? How can I do it?
    3. Have I do something in the Theme Compatibility tab?

    Thanks!

    1. Have a look at Appearance > widgets > GD Home Top Section > GD map widget.
I suggest you only change the height of the map, and it will go to the next zoom level.
Also think of using the Cluster addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/marker-cluster/

    2. Are you using all latest versions of all GD plugins?

    3. Not if everything looks fine on the frontend.

Hi, I need to improve some things, for example:

    1. I want to disable the shadow box in the right of the map

    2. When user look for a places I want to show more results because now just show 5 and in the map you think that just there are 5 places, just see more y yoy click in the 2º page.

    3. Can I disable the dropdown with the columns in the results page?

    4. If I look for a post code usually show nothing. For example with this post codes: 12540, 08001… and the most of them. I have changed the Limit squared distance area to 200 km… but never show results.

    Thanks a lot in advance!!

    1. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#legend

    2. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-change-the-number-of-listings-per-page/

    3. Add this to your CSS:

    .geodir-list-view-select {display:none;}

    4. The Google Map API thinks probably you are looking for a ZIP code in the US, and does not find any listings in your system for that location.
It seems you have a site only for Spain, so I change your country setting to default country only. That forces the Google API to look only in Spain for the postcode and it seems to work now.
