    Hi,

I am an active customer, and I have trouble when updating GDv2. The response hinted as if my license was not active. Please help check my website, I will give details in the conversation below.

For your information, that I have started the conversion process since a few weeks ago, where we were asked to copy-move the add-on folder manually via FTP (different from the latest method, which is automatic conversion).

So, I made a stagging website. But a message appears:

    Download failed. Unauthorized.

Then if you follow the instructions, an error message will appear:

Your license has been activated for this domain, please activate it first.

I included a few screenshots in the conversation below.

My question is, does my license double or duplicate because I created a backup website a few weeks ago? How can I ensure GDv2 that I only have 1 website? I want to update to Version 2.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

If you moved your site to a new domain you will simply have to deactivate and then reactivate the licences to register them to the new domain.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

that means I only need to disable the license on the staging website, right? then I reactivate the license on the main website?

basically I made a staging website in February just to prepare for conversion to GDv2, but now GD makes the conversion method easier, so I don’t need a staging website anymore.

Your membership gives you access to unlimited sites so just on whatever site its not working on, deactivate and then reactivate 🙂

    Hi Stiofan,

Oh, I just found out that a Full Member license can create unlimited websites. So 1 license can be used for many websites, is that so?

Whatever it is, thank you very much Stiofan for the information.

    Hi Zul Kurniawan,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that’s correct. 1 license can be used for “Unlimited” Websites. Refer to the FAQ below https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/
