Icons: Size and best way?

    What’s the best way to make size and icons? I think I want to go with Font Awesome because it makes it easy.

    What’s the best size (in pixels) to use so that it’s not too big or too small on the map?

    Is there a recommended way to make these icons or a good source for them>

    Best sizes are 30 to 50 pixels max both height and width.
