The listing place is set to “You can upload unlimited images with this package”, but if another image is uploaded, the first (featured) image is dropped. if several images are uploaded, all but one goes away, and the remaining image does not show as featured. This occurs only after the listing is claimed.
We have 5 images as placeholders on all of the unclaimed listings, and they all load fine. The placeholder images were uploaded via csv.

The issue will be fixed in the next release, thanks for spotting this.
S.October 12, 2014 at 2:23 pm #18107Why then does it work fine before the listing is claimed?
And, the images (for me) aren’t duplicated, they are dropped completely. Also, how long to the next release? The site is not really usable until people can load their own images.
Thanks, Simone.
October 12, 2014 at 2:55 pm #18108I did a test on your site, and the images are duplicated and the first image(the featured) is dropped.
There is no ETA about the next release, but this will be fixed asap.October 12, 2014 at 4:20 pm #18109OK — thanks for testing and for getting back to me (on Sunday!). I really appreciate that.
Any suggestion as to how can we at least get the original images back into that one claimed listing page? what would you do?
If we turn off the option to add images until the next update, would that mess with anything?
October 12, 2014 at 4:21 pm #18110You’re welcome, you will be updated as soon as the issue is fixed.
October 12, 2014 at 4:29 pm #18111I was writing this when you replied…

October 12, 2014 at 4:31 pm #18112For now, you can add the images from backend, editing the listing and handling with images as usual (from an administrator account), just tried on my demo site and it’s working fine
October 12, 2014 at 4:45 pm #18113Great — we’ll do this, thanks.
October 13, 2014 at 9:50 am #18171I can’t replicate this either, can someone please provide step by step instructions on how to replicate this please.
Thanks,
Stiofan
October 13, 2014 at 2:15 pm #18198This seems to be an issue with image naming, we are working on it.

October 14, 2014 at 1:06 pm #18319I couldn’t add images through the admin account as Simone was able to do, have the same problem.
Admin > Places > The 3-M’s Of Grays Harbor page.Stiofan, might the image naming issue have something to do with the initial csv upload of named images (we used 5 images as place holders for all of the uploaded listings).
Thank you for your attention to this, much appreciated!
October 14, 2014 at 1:18 pm #18321The issue, as Stiofan said, is about the name of the file, when I tried from backend I was using different images, so it won’t work 🙂 it was a unfortunate coincidence, the only workaround, at the moment, is to rename the filenames
