    Hi,

after upgrading to WordPress 4.7.1 listing import does not work any more for me and the initial error after ‘ Select & Upload CSV’ is ‘Array( [error] => Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.)x’

After adding ‘define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true)’ to ‘wp-config.php’ the error changes to ‘The uploaded file is not a valid csv file. Please try again’. The csv file has passed csvlint.io and worked before upgrading to WordPress 4.7.1.

The error message ‘The uploaded file is not a valid csv file. Please try again’ is apparently generated by ‘geodir_ajax_import_export’.

    How can that be fixed?

    Best, Markus

    Hi Markus,

Please install the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/ for a temporary fix to this issue. Here’s another thread for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/import-issue/#post-341940

    Thanks!
