import cause multiple instances of parent category

    Please see the screen shot of admin dashboard.

    Importing CPT listing of for example Engineer (that also included other sub classes) caused multiple instances of the Parent.

    All Class A license Engineering Contractors should just be under one category and not have each sub class create anew instance of class A engineering contractor.

    Suggestions please?

    edited… is it possible that I am just reading the parent child relationships wrong. I noticed the side left line for child. please disregard.. just need to take a break.

    Were you importing listings or categories?

    OK, just let us know if u need help, remember if you import categories with no ID’s it will create new ones even if they already exist by name.
