Import CSV – Does title field need to be unique?

    I am wondering when importing a csv, does the title field value need to be unique?

    For example business name or attraction could have the same name, but be in another neighborhood, city or country?

    What about after data has been entered and exported, so a unique post_id would exist?

    Title fields do not need to be unique. But the slug will be created with a -1 at the end of one of the listings I suspect.
    They can even be in the same location, that is not relevant.

    Changing titles after import or creation does not change the slugs, so no problem there.

    Thanks for your prompt response.

    Is there are straight forward way to export the slug?

    It would be great if this was included in the standard csv export file.
