    Hi,

Like I said before I am working at the finishing touch and walk trough all details now and will send you a few more topics the coming days. I will do this in private messages when I think that´s better.

I can´t export listings or categories. Get an error message (see attachment)

    All permissions have 755.

    Thanks

    Frank

    Hi,

apparently that clone plugin copy is not compatible with our plugin. It is only copying default wp_tables and not any plugin custom table.

You can either ask why to the plugin developer or look for a better way to clone a website.

There is nothing we can do about it.

    Thanks

Please reply to him that GeoDirectory is a free plugin and he can download and test it.

All tables are prefixed correctly wp_geodir_xxx. The plugin is also multisite ready.

    Thanks

For the file system problem we created a tutorial: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/geodirectory-does-not-have-access-to-your-filesystem/

    Thanks

    Hi,

this is exactly the format used by geodirectory wp_X_geodir_xxx on multisite installs.

I’m not sure what is talking about (see image attached).

This is how I clone a website (easier than using any plugin).

    1) login with phpmyadmin to the database of the website to clone and backup the entire database.

    2) login with phpmyadmin to the database of the new website and import the entire database.

    3) Download this search and replace utility: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

    4) Extract it on your desktop, rename the folder to something unique like mysearchandreplace and upload it to your server via FTP in the root of your website. it should appear next to wp-content / wp-admin / wp-includes folders.

    5) visit the page corresponding to the utility: yoursite.com/mysearchandreplace

    6) Find “youroldurl.com” replace with “yournewurl.com”

Done, this will also keep all widgets, menues and so on.

    Thanks

you are welcome, obviously you also have to move files from server to the other (themes, plugins, uloads).

    Thanks

The above procedure is what you need. Finding a replacing only missing strings is almost impossible.

    Thanks
