Import problem

    Hi,

    I exported the listing csv file, added the email information and uploaded them back into geodirectory.

    I have done this a few times, but some items always cannot be updated “8 / 90 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type/invalid characters used in data.”

    And it is frustrating because there is no report, and I will need to go back and check which items are not updated and manually update them.

    And when i went in to check, 13 out of 90 items were actually not updated

    And also the dates will get jumbled up – the months and dates and year will interchange and result in scheduled listings

    Oh I’ve seen the instructions – i used excel, maybe that’s why. But if you could do a check for me – that will be good too!

    The post id is missing, so these records cannot be updated, only added as new records.

    Posts are also missing lat/lon

    so do i need to manually search for lat/lon to add in? How do I populate the values? Or do I leave the fields empty?

    How do I know which are the 92 added? And I don’t think any of the data was added because there were no new post ids (im adding new data)

    Will the database be full? because when i upload the same item (as a new entry), it was declined.

    Hello,

    there aren’t any logs in GDV1 importer, so, you will have to check to see which new posts show in your list of posts (in Places – Show all places, for example).

    Please see here for all required fields. If left empty the row will be skipped.

    I doubt the database is full. Earlier you had mentioned wanting to update listings, and if there is no post-id, then it will be added as new, not an update.

    There are many tools available to lookup lat/lon based on address like https://www.latlong.net/
