I recently acquired a website from a friend and would like to move her mapping system from Maps Marker Pro to GeoDirectory (which is far superior imo).

I exported MMP layers and markers to CSV files and headed over to my GD plugin to import. It gives me several errors that I’m unsure of how to fix. There are a couple thousand locations so doing anything manually is completely out of the question.

To start, I had both plugins active, but deactivated MMP after export was finished. Then headed to GD to import. Once finished, it tells me of an error stating there is no location and more (location most important to me). When I check the files, there is a long/lat location in each listing.

First question: Do I need to already have multilocation installed for this to work?
That was my original thought. There are map locations all over the globe from MMP.

    Total 2263 item(s) found.

2263 / 2263 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

2263 / 2263 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type/invalid characters used in data.

We suggest you create one GD listing in the backend and then export that listing. That will give you the correct information to finish the CSV import file.

Location Manager needs to be active if you want to import listings into more than one city.

    See more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export

    Thanks

Thanks, I’ll give that a try. Just hoping I don’t have to update 2000+ listings to import. D:
