integration with other plugins

    Hi,

    Some other questions:

    1) I notice the GEOdirectory related tabs are still missing from the UsersWP plugin (like Owned Places, Favorites, …) . Is this because that plugin still needs updating?

    2) I tried the Ninja integration some more. When creating a new Ninja form, the only new thing I see is the “GeoDirectory Contact Form”. So I created that one, and then I added a new Shortcode Custom Fields tab. There, I pasted the shortcode from Ninja forms. I assumed that would bring up the contact form, but that tab remains empty in the front-end. Am I doing it wrong?

    3) The release date for the v2 core was May, we are now mid-June. do you have an updated ETA, or some news to share on that front?

    Yes, UsersWP integration is still ahead.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    2) I changed the shortcode from [ninja_form id=2] to [gd_ninja_forms form_id=”2″ text=”Contact Form” post_contact=”1″ output=”button”] and that seems to work.

    I assumed that the integration implied the shortcode from Ninja forms could be reused.

    But now I have a Contact tab that just has a button. From a GUI point of view this does not make any sense: a tab with only a button that will open a light box. How can I put the content of the light box in the tab itself?

    The tabs for Facebook, Twitter and Website have the same problem. They just contain a link. I assume they’re there but their actual purpose is to put them in the widget instead?

    Hi Tom,

    You can add any shortcode as a tab.

    In this case:
    1.Places>Settings>Tabs>Shortcode
    2. enter the Ninja forms shortcode eg: [ninja_form id=1]
    3. set the name and icon for the tab and save 🙂

    Our social inputs just contain the link, there are many plugin out there that output fancier stuff, we will leave that to them.

    That’s exactly what I did before posting here in the first place and the tab remained blank. Now it’s working… not sure what went wrong there. Thanks.
