    Hi,
    Under Post Type Settings,
    The Predefined Field “Is Featured?” has a default value setting that can be set to Checked or Unchecked.

    No matter what I set this to, it appears as checked whenever I attempt to add a new listing.

    I looked at that post but it didn’t seem to solve my problem.
    
I don’t want to exclude the “Featured” field.
    

    Under CPT Settings>Custom Fields > Featured field> Advanced settings, I have the default value set to ‘unchecked’. And yet, when I go to add a new listing, the value is checked. I need it to be unchecked by default.

    Hello,

    So, how do I set the default price package settings so that Featured is unchecked by default but not excluded?

    You are correct, there is no way to have it enabled in the price, but not checked by default when adding a listing for that price.
    

    Unless I’m misunderstanding your topic, it would look quite buggy to the vast majority of users if it worked like that.
    

    A price will either give the featured status or not…

    I am sorry. I’m likely making things more confusing.
    

    In GDV1, in Prices and Payments, my default package has “Is Featured” set to “No” (see attached).

    This still seems like a bug to me. The way you are describing it, it sounds like the default value setting of the Featured field in Custom Fields will always be overridden.

    This is my concern, Dude.
