    Hello,

I am building a directory that will have local vendors and online vendors, as you can imagine the user won’t care about the address/location of the online vendor, my questions

1- Should I modify the gd_place post type to rename its labels to Vendors and then make the address field not required, this way I can add the address to only the local vendors and not the online ones? Or Should I create a totally new Post Type called vendor?
2- If I should create a new Post Type for vendors, can I remove all the references to the post type places in the frontend (ex: on the map, in the search…) since I won’t be using it
3- I noticed that although I made the address field isn’t required it is already loaded with the default city and I can’t remove it, this means all online vendors would be assigned to my default location and will show in the map as such, how can I prevent that?
4- Now for using local/online vendors, when the user is searching for vendors around his/her areas can I show both local vendors that are around the area and also the online vendors that match his/her criteria (ex; show me all vendors that sell office supplies this will show both local vendors and online vendors)
5- Is there a way to organize the vendors by categories instead of Country>Region>City? So instead of US>New York> New York it would be Office Supplies > Printing > Inks, I am asking this since the location doesn’t matter much especially for the online vendors.
Thanks in advance for your help!
