    Hi Guys,

I’d like the website input to already include “https://” so it does not throw an error when the user submits the form without it.

Most users in my opinion, would not include their transfer protocol (“http://” or “https://”) when typing in their website address, so it seems like this is an unnecessary error that will almost always be triggered. What can we do to bypass this? I welcome any ideas or solutions.

    Thank you very much!

We do it this way because we want to make sure every link is valid. Using default text might result in broken links. We want everyone’s directory to have clickable links as easily as possible and this is the best we have been able to get it so far.

I understand. Thanks for the feedback. I wonder if there could be an option to disable this in the future. This is because in our case, each listing is manually reviewed before publishing, so it is not necessary to be so strict. If there’s a broken or invalid link, we will catch it and fix it. Thank you!
