Is it possible to auto create featured image from URL

    We have been able to import our business list and set the default image for listings but I’m wondering if someone has found a way to automatically create the featured image from the URL in the listings.

    There are a number of services like Thumbshots.org and page2images.com that have API connections to create website thumbnail snapshots and there are WordPress plugins to create shortcode in the content area but I can’t find a way to do this with the featured image?

    If no maybe it’s a feature I can talk to a developer about in the WPGEO community?

    Hi,

    no that’s not possible with GD. Listings images are handled outside of the media library.

    Ok thanks I think I found a way offline to handle this.
