is PHP 7 supported on GD Version 1.6.38 and is this the latest V1 update?

    Hi,
    We are running GD Core version 1.6.38 and do not have plans to upgrade to V2 as we will remove GD in the next 6 months (and our GD1.6 is heavily customised).

    Does version 1.6.38 version support PHP 7? if not, is there an update to 1.6.x that we can install that is compatible?

    Also which version of PHP would be supported? We need to get PHP7 in place for woocommerce so need to take action.

    Thanks for your post. GDv1 supports PHP 7 and are you facing any issues with it?

    Hi Kor, that is good to know.
    One of my staff thought it wasn’t PHP7 ready.
    Will it be OK on PHP7.3?
    Also is there any upgrades to V1.6.38? or is that the last of the 1.6.x series.

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked with a developer and he mentioned that GDV1.6.38 (Last version for GDv1) is compatible with PHP7.3. But do let us know if you encounter any issues.
