Is there a way to get featured listings to just be where the visitor is?

In case my question isn’t clear, if I’m in Santa Cruz and I land on the home page, can we populate the home page with listings in Santa Cruz? Otherwise, if they are pulling from everywhere they are completely irrelevant to me. Thank you.

    Hi Kathy Long,

Thanks for your post. Your visitor would need to navigate to the “Near” field and click on the “Near: My Location” as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/gd_search/#guide

Ok, so I see. It doesn’t set the location and automatically refresh those listings when they arrive. Correct?

    Thanks.

The search bar has many feature. One of the things it will do is remember what was searched for and show that in the search bar one the search page. Search results only show on the search page.

If you want to show listings on a different page, like the home page (a page other than the search page), you will need to use a shortcode like GD Listings.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/gd-listings/

Try out the options with the shortcode builder and let us know if you have more questions.
