Issue with the blue location pin

Hi – I’ve just noticed an issue with the blue location pin on my map, it detects my current location but now it can be dragged around the map when you scroll? This is a new issue as before it was fixed to the GPS location and worked fine.

How can I fix this please?
(using v.1.4.9)

Hi,

the blue dot could always be dragged to search around custom locations…

Let me know if I misunderstood the problem.

Hi – ok, it’s just that it seems far more sensitive now, it’s only really an issue when users are scrolling/zooming on the map on mobile devices and accidentally touch the blue pin which is a bit annoying, then when you refresh the page it won’t pick up the correct location of where the users are (like when they first open the page and get geolocated) it just stays where the blue pin was last moved.

Can I do anything about this?

Hi,

you can show the button control on map to enable/disable dragging on mobile.

The option is in geodirectory > design > map > Show button control on map to enable/disable dragging.

I don’t see any other solution to this.
