Issues with field:taxonomy

    Hi

    I am trying to add a custom field (taxonomy) both in events settings and in place settings, and I always get the same error “HTML variable name should be a unique name”

    Not sure which value this message refers to?

    Please advise?

    You cannot add a taxonomy custom field, that is reserved for the GD categories system.
    That custom field type should not actually be there …

    Hi,

    yes that has been noted in our to do list. The field shouldn’t appear as one that can be added.

    Given that it wasn’t a priority we haven’t removed it yet and we gave priority to other tasks.

    In any case, it can’t be really used as Guust said and you will see that field disappear sometime in a future release.
