    Hi-

    I was wanting to know what the best method would be (if it’s possible) to add a job listing and tie it to a business listing. I have a local directory set up…so businesses are listed mainly for visitors to the community. I am wanting to see if I can add job listings (as a cpt possibly) and then link it to the business listing.

    I think I repeated myself there…

    Hi,

    yes it is possible. Create a CPT Jobs and make it likable to your business CPT. Make sure to do the same at price level (if you have prices) once you do that it will work just like linking events to any other CPT.

    On the category taxonomy for a job listing… do I have to put it in the same category as the business or how does that work? Do I have to create new categories for job listings?

    Also, do you mean link able? Or likeable? If likeable what do you mean by that.

    Okay, I created a new job category, because that seems to be what needs to be done…from this point, I have set up the price packages for the places and the listings to free and have them linkable…now, how do I link them?

    Now you should see a ‘link business’ select field at the top of the add listing field.
