    Hi,

Thank you so much in advance for answering my very noob question. I’m learning everything from scratch and still trying to make a decision between Jupiter vs Beaver Builder vs Divx themes.

I would like GD pages to have the look of the theme that I am using. I see that in order for GP pages to look like BB pages, I will need to use shortcodes. My question is

    1) What about Jupiter and Divx?
    2) Which theme is the easiest to integrate with GD with respect to the particular angle I am looking at?

Thank you so much once again!

    Hi Hui Ling Tan,

Thanks for your post. No, we’ve not missed out this post. It just that we couldn’t give you best advice since both are premium themes. We made GD to be compatible with as many themes as possible. Could you tell us a little bit about your goal? How do you want it to look like? Perhaps checking out some examples here might give you some ideas https://wpgeodirectory.com/category/showcase/ .

    Thanks!

    Hi Hui,

sorry about that, I did respond last night but I must have gotten logged out somehow.

Kor is right, we don’t recommend any particular theme or builder. There are so many! In general, we also want GD to be accessible and we don’t think a builder should really be needed to manage GD pages and templates. That’s why most of the design elements are available as shortcodes, widgets, and Gutenberg blocks.

GD inherits the styles of your theme. So, the theme is what will set the colors of links and such.

Choose the one you like the best and we will do our best to make sure that GD doesn’t cause any styling issues so you can use your theme and builder to make your site great.

By the way, an item I mentioned in my first reply that didn’t get posted,

keep in mind that only GDV2 allows editing the listing templates with a builder. GDV2 is much more theme friendly, and we recommend you try it out, because it is full of improvements.
