Just Show Events in Search Bar Drop-down Menu

    We are in the process building a Geo Directory site (GeoDir Framework) with the Events Add-on. Places is not being used, it is an Events-only directory.

    Is there a way to remove places from the search drop-down menu? If not, is there a way to make Events the default option in the search widget?
