I am working on Kleo Theme and having some problems integrating the automatic menu options for GD.
I read another thread that was commenting the same and he had already asked in the Theme’s Forum. Their answer was:

    ————
We chosed to disable the menu links because you don’t have control over the one added by GD itself.
You should just add the link to the Add Listing page wherever you want and in the case of the listing archive page you’ll have to create that link manually.
    —————

What do you suggest? I only find a general listing page. And by default brings Place post type. How do I add other listing post types I am creating?

Thank you very much for your assistance!

Links to add listings are in this format:
    /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
    /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_events
    /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_business
    etc.
Just replace gd_place with the relevant post type.

Links to your custom post types are like this:
    /post-slug
    examples:
    /places
    /events
    /business

Links to your categories are like this:
    /post-slug/category-slug
    examples
    /places/attractions
    /events/festivals

    Hi Guust
    thank you for the info.
I cannot make the Add listing work. Do I have to create a page for each type of listing and somehow relate it to the link you provided.
Just writing the link in the browser, leads me to the home page.
    Am I missing anything?
    Thank you
    Miriam

    hi,

this is a known problem with Kleo https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/change-location-navigation-main-menu-not-working/#post-46862

The other member already reported it to Kleo author’s. The way the handle menus makes it impossible to add any custom link using the WordPress hook dedicated to that function.

I’m sure they are working on a solution already.

    Thanks

Thank you Paolo for your answer.
I asked again to the Kleo people. Let us wait for their answer.

    Hi Paolo
Unfortunately, after one month we had no answer nor solution for the menu problems with Kleo Theme. For the moment I managed to add the “Add listing” links to the menu, but I don’t know if it will be possible to work with the Multilocations filters, through a custom link. If it is possible please let me know.
Meanwhile I insisted with the Theme developer.
    Kind regards
    Miriam

    HI Miriam,

you could add the location switcher with a shortcode n a widget area? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/
