Language change to listing preview page

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    We are trying to change the language (message and button) on the listing preview page. We initially changed GOING_TO_FREE_MSG and PRO_UPDATE_BUTTON in language.php to no avail. Then we changed geodirectory-en_US.po and geodirectory-en_US.mo but that did not take either. Further research lead us to find the text in geodir_payment_managergeodir_payment_actions.php. We then updated geodir_payments-en_US.po and geodir_payments-en_US.mo, but still no luck.
    What are we missing? Thanks for your help.

    GeoDirectory version 1.6.8
    GeoDirectory Payment Manager version 1.4.3
