    I have the GP plugin and WP as whole is English, however field settings in Places are in Russian. I tried to re-install GP and even reset the WP, however it does not help.
    How can I make GP 100% in English?

    Custom fields have been set to Russian at GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields.
    You need to translate them back to English, they will not go back automatically.

    Thanks for letting us know.
    The default custom fields cannot be deleted, but they can be set to inactive.
    Regarding the address field, you are on the correct track now.
