    Here is the rub. After paying and spending days setting up the directory and then massaging the data base we find that geodirectory cant import the database because it has no latitude & Longitude data???

    WELL WE WOULD BE EXPECTING THE BC%$@^%* GEODIRECTORY TO LOOKUP UP OR PROVIDE THAT like it does for a single user WOULDNT WE???

    Hi,

    it would take too long to fetch lat and lon during import. It would be a viable solution only if you had to import a hands full of listings.

    Most of our members import thousands and sometimes millions of listings, so it wouldn’t work for them.

    The situation would become worst, if you entered any wrong address, the system would either time out or import few or a lot of listings in the wrong positions.

    There are services that allow you to get lat and lon coordinates in bulk and those allow you to correct any mistake BEFORE importing.
