Legacy Geotheme how to get rid of Geodirectory splash page

    Hi there,

    We have an old legacy Geotheme site. Every time I log into the admin panel, I get this massive Geodirectory splash page trying to get me to download and purchase Geodirectory.

    I get this even when I try and run another theme!

    It’s maddening. How do I get rid of it?

    Hello,

    This is due to the update check, and the old domain forwarding to this site now.
    In functions.php please comment out these two lines:

    

    add_action("admin_head", "checkForUpdates");
add_action("admin_head", "showNotifications");
    

    That should stop it, let me know if it does not.
