License Renewal / Lifetime Option

    License renewal is coming up and I just saw the new lifetime option.

    In the order section it has an entry for renewing an existing license, however when inputting license in there it doesn’t associate it with the lifetime option, but rather adds another 12-month license on to the invoice…

    What needs to be done to apply this to the same license? Also, my regular renewal is coming up in a few days…do I need to cancel that beforehand to avoid double billing?

    Hi,

    you can only renew a 12 months license for the same period of time. The system, unfortunately, doesn’t allow to keep the same license numbers when changing length of the subscription because it considers them as different products.

    That said, you could cancel your current subscription and buy a new lifetime license. All you’d need to do afterward is deactivating all old license number on the plugins page and activate the new membership license once in the extensions menu of GDv2.

    Follow up….

    Since purchasing the lifetime license, here are some things I’ve come across.

    AffiliateWP Integration – no longer listed
    GD Booster – no longer listed
    PayFast Payment Gateway – no longer listed
    WP All Import – license expired … need to renew license

    Are the first three still supported, needed, etc.?
    For the last, is there some reason it is not included with Lifetime license?

    1. Moved to Invoicing before GDV2 was launched
    2. For GDV1 only
    3. All gateways moved to Invoicing
    4. This sounds like a bug. Give us a minute to look into it.

    Yes, the WP All Import is not showing as an option, it may be its beta status, i’ll follow up tomorrow.

    – Whoop!
    – Supreme Directory
    – GD Dashboard
    – WP All Import
