    Hi there,

How do I limit the members who can create/edit lisitings to certain roles?
Is there a Geo Directory specific capability I can add/remove from roles?

    thx

    Hi Vanessa,

I believe this has been asked before, I’d like you to refer to the answer from Paolo https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/user-roles/ . Let me know if I’m misunderstanding your question.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor,

It’s easy enough to limit access to the add listing page (what a membership plugin would accomplish). However I don’t see any way to hide the ‘add listing’ control from the main listing pages that everyone needs access to. So a user would click ‘add listing’ and then be taken to a page saying they don’t have access.

I’d like to hide the ‘add listing’ control and only make it available to certain roles.

    Hi Vanessa,

that is simply not possible without a customization.

geoDirectory allows everyone to submit listings.

    Thank you
