    Hi,

    I can’t seem to get the lookup working for the ‘Event Location’ field. I’ve set it all up in the CPT settings under Events, but for some reason, when you type in a few letters for a place listed in the directory, it’s not searching for the place.

    Can you help please?

    Are you searching for a Place of the same user?
    Have you allowed for other users to add Events to the Place of another user?
    Please post WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Hi David,

    Please try after clearing your browser cache.

    One of JavaScript from listimia theme conflicts with rendering select2 for CPT linking field.

    In file /wp-content/themes/listimia/js/custom-javascript.js i have changed line 

    jQuery('select:not(.geodir-select-tags,.geodir_taxonomy_field .geodir-select)').select2();

    to 

    jQuery('select:not(.geodir-select-tags,.geodir_taxonomy_field .geodir-select, .geodir-select-search-post)').select2();

    Excellent thank you it’s working now.

    Back in July, in another support thread, you guys said that on the next release we would be able to auto-populate the address form based on the business selected in this field.

    Has there been a new release since July 4th and if so, is it in there and again if so, how can I get this working please?

    Hi David,

    please report the javascript issue to Listimia so they can improve their product.

    About the autopopulate feature, the developers are still working on that and will post an update as soon as they can.

    Hi Kiran,

    Thanks for the reply but I was told back in July it would only be a few weeks away. It’s now September and you no longer have a timescale for it?

    To me this is a feature that would be there anyway otherwise why would you link to a business in the first place? It’s essential for my business and I would really like to know when it’s going to be completed.
