    Hi

    I have linked some event to businesses but can’t seem to get the events to show up when viewing the place listing. Doesn’t show on ‘Related Listing’ tabs or side bar or anywhere else… I can confirm that I can see the field populated in ‘geodir_link_business’. Looked in the settings and can’t seem to figure it out – am I missing something?

    Linking events to businesses is only making it easier for events to auto-populate the address based on one of their business listings. It does not do anything else.

    Thanks for confirming – it would be good if there was a way of showing the events. Any idea on a query to loop through the events table and list events based on geodir_link_business field value matching the current post id?

    If I remember correctly, it has been discussed in the past to be able to show events on the business detail page.
    Let’s check with Paolo to check my memory and whether anything is happening about that.

    Actually events are supposed to show in the detail page of the linked business.

    I remember checking for another user not too long ago and it was working, at least for Events and Places.

    We still had to implement the option to link any listing from any CPT together.

    I’ll ask Stiofan to verify why it doesn’t work anymore.

    Hi

    Wonder if this has been implemented. I like to show events from a specific place in the place detailspage as a tab. Is this possible and how do i do it?

    Yes it has.

    in the event tab you can see the Event linked to the place.

    In the Event’s sidebar there is a link “Go to Attraction” taking the visitor to the place linked to the event.

    To enable the Link to business feature, you must have the Prices and Payments addon installed and In Events prices, down at the bottom where it says : Event Features Only

    Link business : select Yes.

    At that point you will see a new Link business search autocompleter in the event listing form.

    As far as I know, now it only possible between Events and the main CPT, Places.
