Linking Addresses to Google Maps?

Hi alchemi design,

Thanks for your post. Are you trying to allow your users to get direction on the map? If you are, you can use this shortcode https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_post_directions . Or you can create a custom field “URL” and insert a link to your custom Google Maps. If not, may I know what are you trying to achieve there?

Thank you for your suggestions. I did implement the Post Directions widget into the location detail sidebar as a temporary fix, though I’m not sure if what we’re seeking is possible.

We encountered this suggestion from someone who reviewed our site, and I believe they intended it as the Post Address itself would be a hyperlink that would take the user to the google maps page for that address.

That requires a customization, but it is a good idea and I will add it to idea box for the developers to consider for future versions.
