That’s been an option for a while already.
Most people have trouble because they do not follow the steps in the current major update, which you probable should do if you want all the latest fixes and changes.

Then go to GD Tools and run the DB conversion tool.

Make sure you also clear your browser cache and cookies if you activate GD Booster.
