I have my 2 URLs setup for listings and location.

I see that location is the one used as homepage, because I change that the Home content section.

For listings I have another thing and I am not able to change the content section.

    Problem.

If I go to listing URL, the top map shows all stores and under that all stores as listing.

That listing is the one I want to change, It shows everything from a-z always.

If I go to location URL, the top map shows nothing, just the empty world map.

Under that a listing I can change to whatever I want in this case random.

So, I need that everything shows the things in the map and all the listings are random or whatever I choose.

How can I do that ?
    Why things show different ?
Why location URL shows an empty map ?
How can I change listings URL content order?

    Thank you.

Can you post the URL and admin details?

“Location” is used for all locations (“directory” in demo):
    http://wpgeo.directory/directory/
    http://wpgeo.directory/directory/united-states/california/

“Listings” is used as the slug for the default custom post type, for example “Places”:
    http://wpgeo.directory/listings/

Empty maps are if there are no listings for your query. Do you use the location switcher? Maybe you are not in the “everywhere” location.

What I want to do is change the listings below the map in the listings URL.

In location I have home content widgets where I can add featured places, then latest places and then ratings for example.

In the listing page I cant do anything and I want to do the same. I don’t want to have a listing from A to Z forever, I want to randomize that.

    Thanks.

If I understand you correctly, do this:
GD > Place (or other CPT) settings> sorting options.
There you can customize your Listings page settings.

    Yes.

For the content, GD > Place (or other CPT) settings> sorting options made the trick.

    Thank you.
