Listing map mechanismes missing

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    The listing map becomes useless when no categories are included.

    How to let the listing map be identical to the home page map ie. including the categories at the right section and also the post type bar at the bottom section?

    That is not possible.
    The home/location map shows all listings in that location.
    A listings map shows all the listings resulting from a query, for example a search, or a filter for a category, or a filter for a category in a particular location.
    Why would you want to show a map without listings anyway? Because if there are no categories, there can be no listings.
    I hope I understood you correctly.

    The problem is there is no categories to select from in the Listing map for Businesses (places) https://cretemix.com/places as an example.

    The categories box at the right map section is complete missing.

    This means I cannot make a hardcoded link to the Listing map for Businesses as an example, as the users then cannot filter on categories.

    Go to one of the places, and you’ll see the links to the categories:
    https://cretemix.com/places/propertysale/
    https://cretemix.com/places/propertyrental/

    Or go to WP admin > places > place categories > view a category

    Or WP admin > appearance > menu > scree options > place categories
    Then select the category from the list of possible links

    And don’t forget you can add the “popular categories” widget above or below the map to, that will show the categories, eg http://wpgeo.directory/restaurants/ (look for american, french, pizza …)

    Is it possible to put these various post types within the home page map URL ie. let the URL https://cretemix.com/location include the post type gd_property as an example for various hardcoded post type related map links to be introduced?

    All properties are at https://cretemix.com/properties
    etc

    The categories widget did it! Resolved!

    See https://cretemix.com/places as an example where the visitors can then now filter on the various Businesses categories!
