Listing Preview Page not showing

    I am trying the “Add Listing” operation.

    If I fulfill the “Video” field with a YouTube “embed video” code (like, for example, this one: <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/pHs9Zv65skc” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>), the Listing Preview Page does not show. Only the page title and the sharing buttons appear.

    If I leave the “Video” field blank, the Listing Preview Page shows.

    I tried on my demo site and it worked, I used this embed code

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pHs9Zv65skc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    It does not work.

    I guess there are some compatibility issues with the recent version of Divi 2.4, since I am experiencing other “strange” problems like, for example, when I use Custom Fields, they break the “Listing Preview” page layout.

    I tried with my other Divi 2.4 + GeoDirectory website and the problem is exactly the same.

    Inserting the YouTube video embedding code into the Video field causes that the “Listing Preview” page does not appear.

    If i leave the Video field blank, the “Listing Preview” page shows, but with a chaotic layout.

    In this case, I have not configured any Custom field.

    I think some code is breaking the website and it might be due to your theme. Please provide url and login details in a private reply and I’ll have a look, thanks

    The hosting that I am using has configured some strange security protocols and I guess they have blocked your IP, since it happened other times. Could you please let me know your IP so I can request them to unblock it?

    Ok I was about to tell I figured out I was blocked, I changed Ip so Im back on track..until they block me again

    OK, made some test both frontend and backend, and it worked (see attach)

    I have used the following embed code

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pHs9Zv65skc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    and you can see the listing with the video showing fine in the video tab..
    If the issue persist, could you tell the exact steps you take in order to replicate the issue? Without seeing the issue we can be helpful.

    I ran the test using Safari and Chrome, filled only title, address, category and video

    Thanks Simone. I see it works now. I do not understand why it did not work before, since I am doing exactly the same.

    However, I notice that the video does not show in the Listing Preview page Tab. Is this normal?

    No this is not normal, on ym demo site i cans ee the video on the preview. i guess there is something in your theme having issue with GD

    Hi,

    if you allow us, we could quickly switch to another theme to see if the problem is indeed in the theme? (or you could do a quick test).

    Knowing exactly where the error is, would help us finding a solution.

    Hi Paolo,

    Please, feel free to switch themes.

    I guess that some incompatibilities may have arisen with the new Divi 2.4 version that has been launched very recently and that the GD Divi compatibility package may require some tweaking.
