Listing upload problems

    HI,

    I downloaded a file from, made a couple minor changes and tried to upload. On upload I get this message – 72 / 86 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).- which does not seem accurate.
    can you spot any issues?

    Some missing country, so it is probably a formatting issue.

    Try using LibreOffice, as Excel causes formatting issues.

    I tried Libreoffice. Still got this message –
    71 / 87 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

    please provide FTP credentials so that we can debug the problem. I can’t see any apparent error in the file, probably some wrong formatting somewhere. The debug log will tell us exactly what it is.

    Hello,

    In file gd_GTG_beer_wine_spirit.csv some values for post_type column are empty.

    I tried to upload gd_GTG_beer_wine_spirit.csv in my local site and it finished import without any problem.

    I enabled debugging and tried to upload gd_GTG_beer_wine_spirit.csv but as error_log file is placed outside of public_html directory so can’t check debug log.
    There will be errors in error.log file about listing import. Check from your side or allow access to server root directory.

    I have tried to import gd_GTG_beer_wine_spirit.csv and few items fails to import.
    debug.log logs in which rows there is issue.
    Here is log:

    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 2]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 3]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 6]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 9]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 10]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 11]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 12]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 13]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 14]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type
    GD IMPORT LISTINGS [ROW 18]: Could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type

    These rows has post_type column is empty.

    Please try from your side with valid csv data and if you seen any issue in import then just check log in WORDPRESS-ROOT/wp-content/debug.log

    Hello,

    Even with those rows deleted i get an error due to address etc. 12 of the 77 get uploaded. I notice the good ones are all from our primary location city – Buffalo NY. Anything in a different City does not. Any thoughts?
    Even when I export and then try to import that same file without touching it they get rejected.

    GeoDirectory – Multilocations – Enable multiple regions/cities

    OK, please upload the latest CS you are working with and we will take another look.

    I am not seeing your site credentials above, so please post those also so we can check your settings.
