I’ve been playing around with the short codes and am liking what I see so far, except that I’m not understanding how to use the Listings Page Map shortcode.

I keep getting “No records found”, but am not sure how to resolve this. I have the shortcode for “popular listings” on the same page and I’d like the map to show these locations.

It would seem that the Listings Page Map shortcodes would require a post_type or category-id parameter, but no such parameters exist.

Please tell me what I’m doing wrong.

    Hi,

the listings page shortcode can only be used on a listings pages.

The only map that will return results in any page is the home map, but it will always show all listings.

    Thanks

“the listings page shortcode can only be used on a listings pages”

But the listing page is a virtual page created by the plugin. So where can I place the listings page shortcode, if it cannot be placed in a normal WordPress page ? And how can I force it to show only the listings of one CPT ?

There is no way to do that. When using the listings shortcode you can’t pair the listings with results on a map.

You must use the GD listings pages to achieve that.

    Thanks
